TorahTutors is pleased to congratulate our Director, Sarah Rudolph, on her recent appointment to the editorial committee of Tradition!
Tradition: A Journal of Orthodox Jewish Thought is published by the Rabbinical Council of America. It was founded in 1958 by Rabbi Normal Lamm and has been led since January 2019 by Rabbi Jeffrey Saks, who also heads ATID (The Academy for Torah Initiatives and Directions in Jewish Education) – the parent organization of both TorahTutors and WebYeshiva.org. After becoming acquainted with Sarah as an educator, writer, and editor through her work with TorahTutors and WebYeshiva, Rabbi Saks invited her to join the editorial committee.
Another new editor was welcomed in the same announcement: Mali Brofsky, who as it happens, was Sarah’s teacher at Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim (1997-1999). We at TorahTutors see their concurrent appointments as evidence of how the relationship between teacher and student can grow and develop over time. We consider each teacher-student introduction a privilege to make, and are always excited to see where those relationships can go!
